The brief
Make one small stylus feel like it belongs in every kind of life.
A stylus is a hard thing to sell on a plain white sweep, where it reads as a commodity next to every other pen. The task was to make Adonit's styluses and accessories feel desirable to very different buyers at once, without ever losing the premium, consistent finish a hardware brand needs.
The approach
Rather than shoot each product in isolation, every frame drops it into a styled world built for one audience: a designer's editing desk, a student's notes, a sports fan's flat-lay, an illustrator's canvas, a music corner, a beauty bench. Light, angle and finish stay constant across all of them, so the product always reads premium while the props and colour do the audience targeting. Seven directions in all, each built for a different buyer.
One product, many worlds
Tap any frame to open it full-size.
For the desk
Real editing and retouching setups, next to keyboards, coffee and plants, so a designer can picture the pen inside their own workflow.
For students
Planners, lecture notes and study desks, positioning the pen as the everyday tool for digital note-taking.
For sports fans
Flat-lays built around basketball, golf, baseball and cars, reaching an audience that rarely sees a stylus marketed to them.
For artists
Mid-illustration shots, hand-drawn recipes, watercolour street scenes and portraits, showing the pen doing the thing it is actually for.
For the music corner
Speakers, earbuds and a now-playing screen, placing the pen inside a relaxed listening setup.
Every colour, styled
The pen itself, in every colourway, styled against hydrangeas and calm landscapes so the full range reads as one considered family.
The accessories
The Universal Adapter and charging line, shot in the same language so the whole ecosystem feels of a piece.

Where they ran
Selected images from the series ran across Adonit's Instagram and Pinterest through 2020 and 2021, and a number are still live on those channels. Alongside paid influencer marketing, the content helped grow the brand's following and traffic over that period.
The takeaway
Here, product photography was really audience targeting. Adonit's styluses, held to one premium standard, were made to feel native to a designer, a student, an athlete and an illustrator, just by changing the world around them.
